Victorian Antique motif Decorating paper and stationery, lots of it all for just $OFFER Red Bluff near ReddingAntelope Blvd near Mulberrygoogle mapGay Victorian Antique motif Decorating paper and stationery, lots of it Red BluffThe gist of this ad is that I have all this left over paper in my storage unit. Really, on retrospect, it makes no sense to keep it, and so I am posting this ad hoping that perhaps some eager person or organization can find a better use for all of it. I personally printed almost every sheet so I have a direct connection and hate the thought that it will not be used in some manner.Back in the 1960-70s my family designed, printed, manufactured and sold a great line of paper products for use as gift wrap, decorating papers, folded stationery note cards, gift tie on cards, etc. We closed the company in 1976 and the remnants of the products were put into storage where they have been stored since. We just emptied that storage unit and managed to save most of the papers and note cards. The designs are beautiful mostly taken from original Harpers Bazaar magazines circa 1860-1880 and redesigned into individual sheet designs depicting varying themes such as ladies fashion, country store, mens and chidrens fashions, dolls, playthings and toys. The flat paper called Gay Victorian Gift Wrap are sheets of both brown and white paper with black printing, giving them an antique feel. The paapers were sold all over the country and used not just for gift wrap, but also for decoupage, decorating, wall paper, etc. Due to the designs many uses were discovered and used which went far beyond our expectations. There are note cards of the same theme, and other note cards depicting collections of antique glass, Blue Stafordshire porcelain, Japanese dolls, and other collections all in full color. The gift wrap is 18 x 24, right now in their original wooden shelf boxes, sitting in my van ready for transit. I also saved many boxes of the note cards which are 4.25 x 5.5, some french folded and some simple folded. I think that there is about 500-600 pounds of paper on hand.Any interestAs far as money goes, I am open to possibilities, suggestions, long range deals, perhaps partnering with someone to utilize the paper. We want to realize about $600 for the entire lot which would make a very large profit possible were it to be resold. Some of the Harpers Bazaar and one page from American Album shown here, I do not have a miniature version of the gift wrap to scan so this will have to do.ADDED APRIL 29, 2014INVENTORY IN SELF STORAGE UNIT AS OF 4-29-14GIFT WRAPFLAT Gay Victorian Gift Wrap 18 x 24 in both tan and white paper, black inkmeasured by vertical inches of flat wrap, with approximately 500 sheets 3Tan Gift wrap assorted patterns not enumerated 37White Gift wrap assorted patterns not enumerated 13GIFT WRAPFOLDED Gay Victorian and American Album colored paper Gift Wrap some in packages of two sheets, some just folded.
