They offer you the chance to buy waders and separate wading boots that fit with more precision. They can also let you choose a specific boot. The boot waders are a general compromise for fit but the waders are sized to match the boot so if you have larger or smaller than average feet, the wader fit may not be as good. However, you do get slightly better warmth with the boot version in SOME cases.
