Antique mission solid oak settle modern day sofa or couch, acquired from an historic home in upstate New York. The family had it in their home for decades and only ever used it as an occasional sitting piece.Well made, sturdy, and ready to complete your collection. The oak has been varnished without taking away the original patina of normal use over the past 100 years. It still has an antique look but just tidied up a bit for modern day use.It appears to have the original spring cushion intact, covered in a newer stripe sateen upholstery weave. It can be left as shown or easily covered with your own fabric to complement your aesthetic.There are no obvious markings or sts on it. Similar lines and proportions to Stickley, J.M.
